Custom Suit Patterns Meeting with the Needs of the Times – Attention to GX Suit Patterns

Hi, this is Daisuke, the editor of GX blog.

In this issue, we will introduce GX suit patterns.

The pattern of GX suit is one of the areas we were very concerned about.

About Jacket

GX suits use original patterns, but they are based on the standard patterns of the sewing factory “Gents”.

We have evolved this classic model into an international model that would be good anywhere in the world.

This model is based on an English style.

Then, the lapel design, waist position, and other aspects of Italian style were incorporated to create an ideal pattern.

This pattern was created by Norimitsu Shibayama, one of Japan’s leading modelists.

GX’s original pattern is an international model with a beautiful silhouette and dimensions that fit modern life better.

The hem line of the jacket is made into a large curve, which gives it a light and glamorous appearance.

GX suits are finely sized, but also offer a wide range of base sizes. There are a total of 6 body shapes based on drop measurements (Bust size – Waist size), and within those, 16 sizes each based on height and bust, for a total of 96 base sizes.

The jacket is available in three shoulder shapes: natural shoulders with thin padding, built-up shoulders with raised ends, and light shirt sleeves.

Other Aspects

So far, we have mentioned suit patterns, but we are also particular about the materials (lining, padding and interlining etc…) used to give them shape.

Standard specifications include a cupro lining, high-grade natural buttons, and two types of interlining: a structured hair interlining for a British taste, and a soft, light hair interlining for an Italian taste.

In addition, the standard specification contains an original waistinterlining made of 100% cotton of the slacks and a lining made of 100% cupra with stretch function.

The vest is sized so that it can be worn inside a jacket without difficulty.

The pants are designed to be easy to wear and to make the legs look longer.

In this way, the GX model has created a pattern that is easy for customers to use, with an eye toward the global standard for suits.

Thank You for Reading as Far

The GX suit is a model that was completed through many trials and errors, starting from the pattern-making stage.

In Japan, this suit has been satisfying consumers through many custom-made suit stores.

We hope that this model will be useful for your business not only in Japan but also in the world in the future.
