The casualization of suits and jackets has accelerated over the past decade or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Business styles have become more casual, and manufacturers and brands are releasing more and more ready-made suits made of jersey material and stretchy casual suits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the Custom-made suits market has not been able to spread the use of stretch fabrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is because the basic premise of a custom-made suit is that it must be made to the specified dimensions, and jersey material, which inevitably stretches, tends to produce inconsistencies in the finished dimensions, and few factories will accept it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another aspect is that in a normal custom-made suit factory, the materials they usually sew are suit fabrics, so the threads and sewing machines they use are not suitable for stretchy materials, so they cannot sew them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, jersey material for custom-made suits itself is not available, making it difficult to arrange for stretchy material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
