What is Miyuki Keori’s Sewing Factory?
Miyuki Keori operates two sewing factories, one in Yomogita Village, Aomori, and another in Otaru City, Hokkaido. Each factory specializes in sewing jackets, slacks, and vests. While the locations differ, the machinery and production processes are standardized, ensuring uniform quality across all products.
In summary, these factories stand out for their balance between advanced technology and skilled craftsmanship, offering an exceptional price-to-quality ratio.

A Blend of Technology and Craftsmanship
Our factories seamlessly combine traditional tailoring techniques with cutting-edge technology. Skilled artisans use sewing machines and ironing presses with precision, complemented by automated sewing machines for tasks that demand high accuracy. This fusion creates a perfect synergy between handcrafted expertise and mechanized precision.
Additionally, a proprietary web-based ordering system simplifies the order process. Customers can place orders online (registration required), eliminating the hassle of handwritten order sheets and streamlining production.
Pattern Development and Materials Innovation
Our dedication to pattern development is unmatched. Master tailors regularly create new designs that reflect current trends while addressing specific fit needs, such as patterns tailored to the “forward shoulder” posture common in Japanese body shapes. We also prioritize the development of unique interlining materials and other components to enhance quality, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.

Let’s Dive Deeper into the Production Process
Below, we provide a detailed overview of the production stages, focusing primarily on our Aomori factory.
1. Order Reception
Orders are received via our web input system or fax from department stores and other clients. Measurements, designs, and specifications are input into a CAD system. Patterns are efficiently arranged to minimize fabric waste before sending data to the CAM system.
- CAD/CAM systems convert order data into patterns and allow automatic cutting without traditional templates.
2. Cutting
Data from the CAD system is transferred in real time to three automatic cutting machines, ensuring precise fabric cuts in about three minutes per jacket. For complex designs, such as checkered patterns requiring alignment, skilled workers use hand-cutting techniques.
3. Sewing
With approximately 200 sewing steps for jackets and 100 for trousers, a team of 160 professionals works in assembly lines. Each worker specializes in a specific task, using dedicated sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques for precision and efficiency.
4. Pressing and Finishing
Specialized pressing machines shape each component—sleeves, collars, fronts, shoulders, and backs—to create the suit’s characteristic structure. Hand-ironing is used for final adjustments, resulting in a refined silhouette.
5. Inspection
Multiple inspections are conducted during and after sewing, pressing, and final finishing stages. Skilled inspectors meticulously verify measurements, stitching, and overall quality based on customer data input into the CAD system.
Conclusion
As you may know, our company has long partnered with Gents Co., Ltd., based in Fukushima, serving as a gateway for easy-order men’s suits. Some may wonder why we are now collaborating with another factory in the same category. This collaboration with Miyuki Keori reflects our commitment to meeting diverse customer needs and continually evolving.
By partnering with Miyuki Keori, we can now offer more competitive pricing, an expanded range of patterns distinct from GX, and unique products that integrate Miyuki’s textiles with finished garments.
