Gent’s Custom Suits – Specifications Limits for Jackets

I would like to briefly outline the specification limits for jackets that you should be aware of.

Shoulder Width

We can adjust the padding from ±2 cm based on the selected pattern’s shoulder width.

Half Body Width

For the selected pattern’s half body width, you can have a padding of ±2 cm for the side width (W), ±1.5 cm for the overlap, and a total padding of ±3 cm.

Collar Width Specification

The collar width specification range is similar to NE and GX, with notches at 6-12 cm, peaks at 7-11 cm, and a shawl width of only 6 cm.

Tilt of Waist Pockets

While waist pockets usually have no tilt, it can be specified. The left photo is the standard without any specifications. The right one has a slant of 2.5 cm due to a specified slant. If a strong slant is requested, the pocket will come up with a 5 cm tilt.

Raising and Lowering of the First Button

The position of the first button can be raised or lowered up to 2 cm.

Cuff Finish, Use of Openings, and Visibility of Openings

For cuff finish, specify whether it is open or visible, provide reinforcement if necessary, and indicate the presence of buttonholes and buttons.

How was it? Although brief, I have outlined the specification limits for jackets. If you have any questions or uncertainties regarding the order specifications, please feel free to contact us. We are eager to assist with any inquiries you may have!
