For those who may be hearing about us for the first time, let me give you a brief explanation.
We started our journey 72 years ago in Chiyoda-ku, Kanda, Tokyo as a wholesaler of clothing-related accessories. For more details, please refer here.
We have been supplying buttons, linings, horsehair interlinings, zippers, and other necessities for gentlemen’s clothing to apparel businesses as well as local tailors and clothing-related customers.
This remains our primary focus even today.
One of our strengths is our ability to accommodate small orders, allowing you to find what you need on the spot.
Yamamoto for Pattern Orders
Tailors who utilize our services not only aim to make suits at Gentz but also focus on the essence of pattern orders—enhancing the appeal of their suits by selecting unique linings and buttons.
Typically, each would procure linings and buttons separately from accessory suppliers.
However, this entails the burden of managing stock and placing orders separately.
To alleviate this burden, or rather, make it quite light…
Well, that’s where Yamamoto comes in! We leverage our expertise as wholesalers of accessories in our sewing department!
For instance, tailors bring their fabric to Yamamoto.
※Of course, shipping is available. Direct delivery from fabric stores is also acceptable.
They simply choose Yamamoto products for buttons and linings, writing down the item numbers on the order sheet—that’s all it takes.
※Order sheets are accepted via fax or email. If you wish to include your store name, please bring or send it along with the order sheet.
Our sewing department staff then pick up the buttons and linings and prepare for sewing.
Once everything is ready, we send it off to Gentz to start sewing.
